Kelly is a great hairdressers and one of the few that does exactly what you ask for ie if you say that I want half an inch cut of my hair that is what I get.

This was my first visit here and i would higley recommend to anyone. Kelly was really freindly and welcoming even offered me a drink. I had a wash, cut and blowdry and i have to say this is best i ever had my hair. I have been to other hairdressers that charge a lot more and my hair has never looked this good. I will definitely be going back.

I am a client at this salon. I intiailly went for a full set of gels which looked lovely and lasted for around 2 weeks. I noticed whilst I was there that they also did lash extensions and due to having short lashes I got myself booked in. In previous salons in my experience the lash extensions have fallen out really quickly and have irritated my eyes. I noticed that my lashes were also damaged from some sets. I can honestly say these are the best set of lashes I have ever had. There is no irritation and they are lasting so well. I asked for them to be natural looking when I initially went and the lady who was doing them for me (Claire) was really attentive and understood what I wanted. Even when I realised that I wanted them to be a little more of a dramatic natural Claire made sure I was happy and and went over and above by adding a couple more lashes in for me. She really knew what she was talking about and I put my full confidence in her. I felt really looked after and appreciated. The team overall are really welcoming and provide excellent customer service. I have booked in my next appointment and I am really looking forward to it. Thank you so much.

She’s only been working there a couple of months, today was the first time I’ve used this salon but didn’t leave before bookin in for 4 weeks time. Amy took very good care of my hair and helped me chose between ombre and balayage as I wasn't sure what I wanted. Colour she has suggested worked out perfectly and I couldn't be happier. My haircut was simple but nicely done too. I'm definitely going to be back.

This shop has some great books and friendly staff. Absolutely disgusted by the revelations on the news about this charity’s exploitation of women and young girls by Oxfam’s staff in Haiti and west africa. I hope Oxfam CEO resigns as he is a disgrace for not keeping his house in order. And he insinuated it was not bad by saying “we didn’t murder babies”. Disgusting man!

This shop is amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful; they have a wide selection of great things and the prices are good too. Oh and have you seen their book room? I would highly recommend you visit this shop.

I've been going to the workshop side of the Citygate Ruislip showroom for a number of years now and with the exception of one small incident (very early on), the service have been extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The team go above and beyond to help, and my personal experience overall has always been positive. Jas in particular is an asset to the company and someone I'm happy to trust my car with!

HGB were fantastic and I can recommend them to anyone. A personal service, nothing was too much trouble and they couldn’t have been more helpful, with many years of experience making the transaction easy. They have a massive big shop/s with lots of choice in bikes and accessories too, well worth a visit. I am very happy with my Honda Wave it’s a joy to ride. Second hand with very low mileage, looks and glides like new !

What an amazing and very helpful team of sales assistants with many years of bike experience behind them. I purchased a secondhand Honda Blackbird in immaculate condition. It had one owner previously and a service history with low mileage on the clock, all in all I'm very happy with the customer service as well as their flexibility with price. The performance of the bike is just like a new one. I feel certain I'll get many good years of usage from this bike. I'm a big lover of sports touring so a bike with a big engine is always my first choice, this is running smoothly as well as very fast if I decide to use it's power, it handles amazing on corners and bends and for a big bike it's not awkward maneuvering between small spaces. There are many motorcycle dealers in the UK but not all of them are on the same level in relationship to everything that they do, if I had to give them a rank I would most certainly put this shop among one of the best.

Great dealer of Suzuki and kawasaki bikes. You can see and test ride all the latest arrivals. Amazing. Different matter is the service shop. They do their job but nothing more. For instance they will replace the brake pads but they won't clean the brakes or the discs. Once they forgot to put a couple of bolts back on. £160 to replace brake pads and chain. I think that a surgeon making an hearth transplant earns less.

I have purchased my last four new bikes here. All sevicing has been great and any issues encountered have always been handled professionally

Had dropped in for a brake servicing, after a prior chat on the phone. Didn't charge me a penny, as it was a minor defect. Even threw in a quick bit of TLC on the bike to make it road-worthy after a winter hiatus. Kudos to Nick, for his courteous and friendly attitude. These guys are not for making a quick buck, but after customer retention. Super impressed. Will return.

Decided to splash out on a bike fit. Initially it seems like a lot of money but there is more to it than adjusting the saddle and tweaking the cleats. An initial chat to determine what sort of riding I did and where I wanted to end up then it was on to physical assessments. The fit uses a combination of technology and human eye. There was no sense of rushing things though, at all times it was important that I felt right. We went through 4 or 5 saddles as an example. At the end of the session quite a lot had been changed. I've been cycling for about a year on a second hand Felt and just used my bike as it was. In my case the handlebars were too low and too far away, it was interesting that when I looked through the bars they were now lined up directly with the front wheel axle, one of the things someone had suggested was a good yardstick. I'm sure that even with the technology a good fit is largely down to the skill of the technician, in my case I was lucky and made the right choice of where to go. I put the fit to the test a couple of days later with a 100km Sportive and I'm pleased to say my previous lower back discomfort has now gone and I was able to concentrate on managing the ride effort / time / feeding wise putting in a very good time - for my limited ability :) The only complaint I would have is that Paul the owner spent far too much time afterwards answering my questions about which bike from the Specialized range might best suit my needs imparting his knowledge. I fear this might lead to another somewhat larger purchase :-0 Oh, and I finally got to buy some of the Veloforte endurance nutrition bars in readiness for that weekends Sportive. A massive improvement on the less than agreeable gels. A real treat. Popped back in on the Sunday to chat further on bikes and had equally good service from another member of the team. Big thumbs up from me.

Thank goodness for independent bike shops on the high street. These guys were able to fix a gear cable at short notice that had snapped 5 miles earlier on a 112 mile ride from Warwickshire to Central London. The staff were friendly and flawless. Thanks again 'The Bike Shop' in North Harrow the rest of the ride would have been very difficult without you.

Excellent service. Cannot recommend highly enough. Malcolm is extremely knowledgeable and transparent in his prices. Whilst I've never purchased a bike from them (they stock quest, giant and pinnarelo bikes) I use them for my servicing.

Really helpful staff who will give you some advice if needed. The shop is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Parking is relatively easy nearby.

A hidden gem, this is how hardware shops used to be - if you need something for the house, you are very likely to find it here at a reasonable price.

The prices are reasonable but not as cheap as Selco or sometimes Wickes locally but those stores are more for builders and so the finishing/quality is better at Homebase in my opinion. They also have their own toilets on site, including disabled ones.

Hired out a carpet cleaner today from Hire-It. Extremely impressed by how well it cleaned.My carpet is very light in colour and so didn't expect the long standing stains to come out. Well it exceeded my expectations 100% and I am very happy to say I will not need to buy a new carpet. Room also smells lovely and fresh! Thank you Hire-It!

Super independent health food shop, Good selection of Vitamin, minerals, herbal, food supplements & foods which cannot be found all in one place, lots of organics, well-priced dry goods (organic rice, bulgar wheat etc.) and lovely well-known brand selection and many of which are veggie or gluten free supplements. Also gluten free/ vegan bread, Organic local honey range, Organic Vegan, Veg frozen foods - in fact, an excellent selection for a perfect excellent Independent health food shop.

My absolute favorite go-to place for both Indian functions and daily-wear jewelry - the range, quality and price are just unbeatable and I am a jewelry snob! Large shop, good selection of low, mid an high quality/prices foods, including a raw/frozen section. It also has the option to order in store or home delivery of large packs, next day free delivery in store, low cost (£3.5) for home delivery. Grooming not fantastic though. I always go with my dog and there's a bowl of water at the entrance and a bowl of treats at the counter.

Staff are friendly. The shelves can be a bit sparse in places. Sometimes I've had to source products from Amazon as deliveries are intermittent and take a while to hit the shelves. The Vets in store is great! I have used them for my puppy check ups, vaccines and neutering.

Another great day in the salon. Rosie gets the best treatment. Natasha and the team make her visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Shes only 8 months and a vocal customer (lol) but they go at her speed and ensure she is safe and loved throughout the whole process. 5* always !!! Thank you 😊🥇

Called to see if I could get an England shirt in a 3XL size that I couldn’t find anywhere else. They had one in stock and I came by to collect it. Very friendly service customer service. I also got a name and number printed on to my shirt for reasonable price and it was done within minutes. They stock many different categories of sports items and equipment, and will more than likely have what you are looking for.

I’m not a serious runner - but I am trying to get fitter and have got myself up to 5km continuous running on treadmills and had felt for some time that my shoes (quite expensive Nike running shoes with the air pocket soles) weren’t a great fit. Nothing obvious wrong with them, comfortable etc, just felt it was worth having a proper assessment. Went to the store and Phil put me on the treadmill in my Nikes (this isn’t to knock Nike by the way, but to praise what I bought and the service) while videoing the run. He then showed me where my ankle was rolling with each step and my calf therefore not being in the best alignment. He considered and brought out two variations of one shoe - one harder insole than the other to try. Filmed me in each, gave me good advice without pushing me one way or another while we reviewed the video. Another colleague in the shop chipped in some advice as an experienced runner. I bought the softer of the two shoes and in less than a week cut well over two minutes off my 5km time. I felt the difference immediately in my gait and even felt less tired after half an hour on the treadmill. Really chuffed with the purchase - I won’t give the brand as I don’t think that’s relevant - one needs the right shoe for one’s own feet and that’s what the shop will get you. Good to have great personal service - and I checked on line afterwards out of interest and couldn’t find anywhere selling the shoes cheaper. So you get all you could wish for in a local shop - personal attention, time, customised fitting and advice, no pressure, use of great technology to assess one’s running style. And a good price for what looks to be a very well designed and made pair of shoes that instantly ‘upped my game’. Only disappointment is I didn’t go there sooner! Thanks Phil! 😊

Excellent service by the father and daughter team. Meet Jim who was ever so helpful and informative and completely changed my view on running. Made me realised that I have been wearing the wrong size all my life and helped me get my running off to a great start. I highly recommend these guys.

I'm not a fan of W H Smith in general, and although I go in quite often it's my second choice, as there is a well established local stationers across the road next to St Luke's church. This W H Smith now accommodates the local post office (although the parcel office is still at the top of Bridge Street).

Some great stationery kits there but they charge a bit too much for several things..

Great little shop. I think the fact it's on the school route is great because you can pop in and buy a packet of pens or pencils!

I have only given it 4 stars as it is a relatively small shop and not everything is in it. But the staff make up for the small size and unavailability as they are EXTREMELY helpful and kind and will try to there best ability to help you and find you all the time you need. And after all of that if you don't buy anything they don't seem bothered about unlike other of the shops kind. Recommend to gamers.
